Town of Tusten Seeks Public Input on Renaming Narrowsburg's Multigenerational Park

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Town of Tusten Parks & Public Spaces Committee is inviting residents to help shape the future identity of Tusten's Multigenerational Park by participating in a community-driven park renaming process.

Following public discussions and preliminary feedback, the Committee has assembled a list of potential names for consideration:

  • Krause Park
  • Tusten Intergenerational Park
  • Eagle Park
  • Tusten Park at The Flats
  • Big Eddy Community Park
  • Volunteers Park
  • Tusten Community Park

Community members are encouraged to submit additional naming ideas. Suggestions should be emailed to gtriggs [at] townoftusten.gov (gtriggs[at]townoftusten[dot]gov) no later than July 1, 2026.

After reviewing public input, the Parks & Public Spaces Committee will discuss the proposed names and present a slate of finalists for community voting. Voting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. prior to the Tusten Town Board meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to participate and help select a name that will represent this important gathering place for generations to come.
